All-School Walk
Students and employees at Roland Park Country School will participate in our annual All-School Walk on Thursday, April 18 beginning at 10:30am. This year RPCS will raise funds for a school for the deaf in Kenya where an alumna is teaching with the Peace Corps. This annual walk, organized by students and faculty at the School, begins and ends at the front entrance after walking up Roland Avenue and around St. Mary’s Seminary. Each participant will donate $1 to $5 for the opportunity to dress “out of uniform.”
This walk is in support of the efforts of a 2007 graduate of RPCS to provide supplies for her students in Kenya. Jocelyn Young-Hyman is teaching deaf and challenged children in Grades K-2, in a school without funds for any kind of materials. RPCS is proud to support our alumnae in their efforts and is pleased to be able to help send funds for supplies to Kenya. Special thanks to Giant for donating 10 cases of apples to our hungry walkers!
