Capital Giving supports Roland Park Country School and its mission by providing resources for building projects and endowment growth. The School has capital needs for which charitable contributions are always welcome. Please note the following when making a capital gift:
A variety of gifts may be used to support Capital Giving at RPCS. Donations with an immediate benefit to the School include cash and appreciated securities. Substantial pledges may be paid over a period of years.
Endowed funds can be established through significant gifts with a specific purpose, sometimes honoring a person for whom the fund can be named. These funds underwrite scholarships, faculty compensation, educational programs and awards. A fund can be started in a variety of ways: by a single contribution, through joint family gifts or after initiating a multi-donor appeal. The minimum amount for creating a named endowment is currently $50,000.
In recognition of donations to construction projects, RPCS offers named gift opportunities at different levels.
The Alumnae Memorial Wall in the Ward House lists the names of deceased alumnae in whose memory a total of $5,000 or more has been donated to the School.
