Welcome to the Parents’ Association

parents

On behalf of the Parents' Association I would like to welcome you and your family to the 2011-2012 school year!

The primary role of the Roland Park Country School Parents’ Association is to promote school spirit, communication and cooperation within the RPCS community while assisting the school in its various volunteer and fundraising efforts . As parents of Roland Park students, we are all members of the Parents’ Association.

The Parents' Association mentors new students families, hosts Employee Appreciation Week, runs the Uniform Resale Shop, organizes and runs the annual Holiday Fair, coordinates all of the volunteer needs of the school, works with Admissions in communicating with prospective students and their families, organizes and hosts the Post Prom, and chairs division Networks within the school. There are many ways in which the involved parent may support our school within these committees and through general membership.

Please visit the Parent Pages regularly. Along with front page news of immediate importance, you will find links to board meeting minutes, and a link to SchoolBASE where you will find online volunteer forms. Volunteering is a great way to feel connected to the RPCS community, network with fellow parents and meet lots of wonderful people! If you have already registered to volunteer, thank you. If not, we need your support for the Holiday Fair, the Post Prom, the Hospitality Committee and other opportunities.

The Parents' Association Board meets on the first Friday of every month at 8 a.m. in the Trustee Seminar Room of the RPCS Athletic Complex. These meetings are open to everyone, and are a wonderful way to hear what is happening at RPCS, so please join us.

Looking forward to a wonderful year,

Tammy Fawcett, P’2012
