Financial Assistance at RPCS (available for K - 12)
The purpose of the RPCS financial assistance program
is to make an RPCS education accessible and affordable
regardless of a family's income. Roland Park Country
School's financial assistance policy is based on the
principle that parents have an obligation to finance
their children's education to the extent that they
are able. This policy, set by the School's Board of
Trustees, is consistent with the guidelines established
by the Association of Independent Maryland Schools
(AIMS) and the School and Student Service for Financial
Aid. To this end, all grants are based on documented
need. Financial assistance will not exceed the amount
needed to meet the difference between parental resources
and the student's educational expenses. Admissions
decisions are made without consideration of a family's
ability to pay.
This past
year, over 29% of RPCS students in Grades K - 12
received approximately two million dollars in financial assistance.
NAIS's School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) is a comprehensive
financial aid services solution. SSS provides for schools an objective
methodology for calculating a family’s ability to contribute to
educational expenses.
